In looking to make blogging even easier, and a little more fun for members, we've introduced the use of Windows Live Writer.
Windows Liver Writers lets you publish photos, video and other rich content to your blog, quickly and easily.
Working much like a word processor, you can save drafts, switch between blog entries, edit past blog entries, and even view your blog entry just as it appears online... before making it public!
Adding photos is as simple as 'drag and drop'. Just choose your photo file and drag it straight into your blog entry in Live Writer and it's done - just as you see the screenshots appearing here. You can then make fine adjustments for sizing, pop-up display, borders, drop-shadows, links and so on from a simple and clear settings pane.
Choosing the Web Layout view will use the online formatting. Now you can see just how the fonts appear online, but to really know how your blog entry will look, just select the Web Preview view and instantly it's displayed as though it's already appearing on the website.

One of the best things about this is you can write entries completely offline. Saving as a draft to publish later when you've finished, you could be drafting up your blog whilst out of the office, on the train, or just at any convenient time.
