This is a short article on how I used my accounting skiils to gain additional income through a project I am running called "The Great Money Diet", which is proven a sucess to those who have used it so far!

Verdict and conclusion on a very interesting bookkeeping case!

I have put together this story to illustrate the various situations that I have come accross as a bookkeeper.

 I am very passionate about being involved in the accountancy profession. Sometimes, I wonder what my maths teacher would say if she found out I have ended up working with figures, as during my school days I hated anything to so with figures.

As well as running my own accounting business, I am also a confidence building coach.

About 2 months ago, I undertook a contract with Gingerbread/One parent families to teach lone parents how to raise their esteem and confidence, develop their CV, and for some help them to focus on a hobby they could turn into a business. Little did I know this will take an unpredicted turn!

The tasks you may have to do vary from group to group; what I have tried to do is to just give you an idea of some of the tasks, it is advisable that you speak to the client’s first to assess their needs, and then come up with a plan to do the work.

Having worked in the charity sector for over ten years, I realise that their are certain knowledge needed to perfom effectively in this field.
