Re: I need a website for my firm

Hey Guys,

My Names Dom Flatters, I'm currently doing a book keppers course (Home Learning) then im going to start my AAT, I work as a accounts assistant for a small firm that supplies customers such as BHS, Next & Debenhams with gift supplies. In my spare time I design websites, simple ones which look classy and professional. I don't mind doing one for anyone who wants one, at a cheap price of around £200ish depending on what you want, I can do a 5 page website for £200 and it will be exactly how you want it, I will upload some proofs online first and you can approve or reject them. As I work, and this is only a thing i do on the side, You will not get through to a call centre, but you can call me anytime, or text me and I will get back to you.

Just let me know if you want it doing, I can also design some nice logos, unique ones and from scratch!, no templates used!!!

Any questions, please fire away.

You can text my mobile 07711585518 and I will call you/text you back tonight/tomorrow

Email info@achievingmedia.com

Thanks Guys, I will be asking for help with my studies soon as well if I get stuck.

Dom

Re: I need a website for my firm

As Keith mentioned (Thanks Keith), website development is a service we can also provide... either at a single upfront payment or affordable monthly payments (only for 12 months).

Currently we are only presenting an entry-level option though we can provide a lot more than this if you have specific needs.  We have several websites currently under development, and once a couple of these have been completed we will look at including these in examples of our portfolio.

We're not currently including newsletter content, tax calculators and so on as we prefer to provide a more unique website with focus on its target audience. We don't specialise in SEO, for various reasons but do take the basic SEO elements into consideration.

Our main aim with this service is complete value for money through an effective working website, though you may have already found another service you feel suits your needs and there are certainly some great services out there!

Please do contact us if you would like to discuss any aspect of our service.

All the best.

Re: I need a website for my firm

I think there are a couple of things to comment on in this thread.

Firstly, what do you want to put on your site? That will largely determine how much you need to spend. Does an accountancy practice really need a website that is anything other than an information board/boards? in effect? Flash content may be seen as flashy (scuse the pun!) on an accountants site.

Secondly, Search Engine Optimization is not something that should be bolted on afterwards. It is an integral part of any website which is built correctly.

If it is built correctly, then rankings in the search engines will improve over time but you may never be top, as it will depend who is currently there and whether their site is funamentally better built than yours!

Determine what you want it for first though. £2k for a straight forward site sounds a lot. Whoever builds it!

Hi guys,

If you're looking for a web-site for your accountant firms, then you need a web-site that not only looks the part but is also search engine friendly, hence the reason why W3C is important (although not essential).

Bare in mind that web design companies very rarely know how to SEO (search engine optimise) web-sites & the ones that do tend to charge a fortune.

You don't have to go to a specialist firm that deals only in accountant web-sites, as any web designer who knows how to SEO a site should be able to to do the job for you, however how good they are depends on their knowledge.

The hardest thing is getting a site designed that looks good, is SEO'd, plus you have full access to the site to make ammendments & add extra pages (fully optimised of course), without you having to constantly pay extra.

I work for an online mrketing company, who deal in the build & promotion of optimised web-sites, so feel free to send me an e-mail to findaccountants@hotmail.com & I will be more than happy to help.

Kind regards,

Webmaster
