Just starting to look at options for online accounting software and interested what others have to say.
I see here there's what looks like a very appealing offer for accountants from E-conomic but are there better deals out there?
I'm not sure yet if I should settle on a single package or consider more. Some look like they have a joining fee which I think would cut them out of my options unless they are very highly recommend over others.
There's my own use and those I work with and being familiar with a few desktop packages we're less fussed on the simplicity and want the tools, though clients that do a lot of their own books will probably want the simplicity. Thinking along these lines I'm open to different software depending on how we work with clients.
So what would you recommend for an accountant or bookkeeper to use? And with the client in mind, what might you otherwise recommend if not the same? And most importantly, why?
Is there some other benefit in using others rather than taking up the E-conomic offer?
If you're game to say - are there any I should seriously stay away from? My biggest concern would be data security with moving online.
