I am interested to know what readers prefer to use Sage or Quickbooks, We have used both for many years and in fact support both Sage and Quickbooks in terms of Training and set up, Sage has by far the bigger profile in the UK but Quickbooks has many features that Sage does not have. Is Sage Marketing justified or does Quickbooks win when put to the real test of actual use by Accountants ?

Love to hear.

Do You Really Need Expensive Job Costing Software? You can easily import any estimate using your National Estimator straight into Quickbooks . Enter your subcontractor bills and vendor invoicing, your payroll, and then your customer billings as you normally do into your Quick Books accounting software.

Well for someone like me who uses both software I must say I do like quick books for the charities I work with as it is cheaper and easier for them to use. It is also good fior chariities that have multiple projects which is then funded by differeny funding bodies. Making use of the class and job functions in quick books allows this to be set up easily.

Most of the small business I do work for, use the sage instant accounts and they seem happy with this/

For me I use quick books for those whom I do bookkeeping for as the muti company version was cheaper than sage.

I guess it is a matter of preference and what you want the package to do for you and the cost! I must say a lot of the job adverts tend to ask for Sage!
