No doubt that accountancy is an ever blessing and ever green field of study and you can start with yours studies at any point in time with any professional degree like ACCA,CMA,CPA and many many others.

Now the thing is that you must evaluate yourself where are you standing right now and how the things will go in future? You have multiple options while you want to decide about accountancy profession. The most important thing for me is to know where you want to see yourself in future and which accountancy attracts you a lot? Is it financial accounting or Cost and Management accounting.If this is Financial accounting then you can go for ACCA which leads to a career in financial accounting,audit and taxation and if you are mainly interested with Cost accounting then you should go for CMA which leads to Management accountant at the first instance.
